Sleep is fundamental to the functioning of your entire body. Having a solid night routine that is relaxing and calming, and limits electronic input, has helped me so much to have a great sleep schedule. ๐ I enjoy doing my nighttime skin care, potentially taking a shower or bath to relax, turning down the temperature in the house, and doing some nightly journaling and meditating. Listening to sleep frequency music is something I've begun to implement in the past few months, and it has been so nice to where I feel like I hear that music and I associate it with sleep. ๐ถ
Along with having a great night routine, having a great morning routine is crucial. Wake up early; there is so much time in the morning even before noon. I have found such a difference in the times that I wake up at like 10:00 versus when I wake up at 7:00. There's so much more time in the day and so much more time for me to get things done. ๐ Make your bed every single day; I used to think it wasn't necessary, but I couldn't disagree more now. Start the day by opening up the blinds and getting some light into your eyes first thing in the morning, which is great for your circadian rhythm and body's regulation. It helps you produce more vitamin D and just wake you up in general. โ๏ธ
